About The Wireless Foundation

Wireless impacts all of us. It keeps us connected, helps us get our work done and improves our quality of life. The Wireless Foundation brings organizations, people and technology together so wireless innovations will continue to enhance lives in communities across the United States. The Wireless Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established by the membership of CTIA-The Wireless Association® in 1991.

What We Do

We’re fostering wireless safety and responsible use, and rewarding VITA Wireless Samaritans who use everyday technologies in heroic ways. We’re educating children, parents, teachers and policymakers on how to benefit from wireless. We’re encouraging environmentally-responsible green cell phone practices. Our mobile health initiatives are promoting healthy babies, mothers and communities.
