CTIA Wireless Foundation to Recognize Congressmen Upton and Pallone at HONORS

What: Mobile executives, non-profits and government agencies leveraging wireless technology for the greater good will celebrate the year’s achievements at the annual reception organized by CTIA Wireless Foundation. Anchored by NBC Washington’s Jim Handly, mobile evangelists and experts will socialize in style and applaud those creating connected change in their local communities.

Who:  
2016 Wireless Champion Award Honoree: Chairman House Energy and Commerce Committee Fred Upton to be recognized for his long-standing support of public policies, from the Commercial Spectrum Enhancement Act to the broadcast incentive auction, which created a foundation that enabled America’s wireless industry to flourish.

2016 Mobile Life Award Honoree: U.S. House of Representatives Frank Pallone to receive the industry’s highest accolade for public service that promotes innovation in the way Americans use mobile services.
